Today Was an Interesting Day…

Wow, my website is so drab… Anyway.

Had a few interesting situations today. Last night I had gotten some motivation to begin working on my map once again, so today I decided I would draw it all out on paper. I had a plan to go all out on this by not just using a pencil, but colored pencils as well! Well, I had gotten the colored pencils but some of them needed to be sharpened first. So on went the searching to find the pencil sharpener. You’d think being home schooled for 11 years you’d know right where it is, but when you’ve moved once every year for 4 years in a row, things tend to get lost, not to mention we use mechanical pencils now. Still, our electric pencil sharpener had to be SOMEwhere!

I searched the office/spare bedroom, the furnace/ storage room, the room we call the library, my desk, and my room. Couldn’t find it. However, amidst my searching I pulled out a drawer from underneath my bed only to find, what seemed to be at my first glance, a puddle of water. I thought “what in the world?” There’s no way Kitty could have gotten in there and have had an “accident”, and there was nothing containing water inside the drawer.  So I pulled out a small box only to find everything to be sort of a “goo”. Little did I realize that the box contained cough drops which had been in there for probably over 2 years…. Yuck!

Later in the evening as I’m sitting here launching TF2, I decided to have a piece of gum, which I usually indulge in upon playing TF2. Usually there’s a garbage can sitting right behind me where I can throw the wrapper into, however, this time the garbage can had gone missing. I almost flipped out when I was thinking “Who stole my garbage can!??”. I couldn’t figure out who had taken it, and for what reason. I thought maybe Dad had emptied it last Thursday for the garbage pick up on Friday. But no, that couldn’t be it because I had just seen it last night… “What in the world?” I thought… Well, after getting into TF2 I kinda forgot about it.

A little while ago my mother and I were playing a lovely game of Skip-Bo where I proceeded to dominate, which I normally do (heh). During the game I was explaining to mother about my issue with the melted cough drops. 1 minute later it finally dawned on me as I was devouring a “supposed-to-be-crispy” soft cookie. “THAT’S what happened to my garbage can!” I said. I had totally forgotten that when I was cleaning out my drawer from the cough drops, I had taken my garbage can in to my room to throw the paper towels away.

I had an extremely good game of TF2 today while playing koth_sawmill. I went 1 whole round without dying once. This is pretty good for me, as I’m the type who likes to get up into other peoples grills then blast their heads off with my rockets (which usually ends with me killing…. well, me). In any case, I was pretty happy to have a a 16-0 KDR. Ending game total was a beautiful 32-5.

I would post a picture of my map drawing, but I could not get a decent picture of it. I’ll try tomorrow with some better light.
