Actually, this was completed over a month ago, I had just never taken any time to update my site or write about it. But The Christian Crew is an online Christian gaming community, of which I joined towards the end of 2007. In 2008 I joined their tech team to help manage the game servers, and then later that year I was asked to join the Council. I am now resigned from the Council, but I still hold a position on the tech team managing the website.
As I mentioned over there the the website’s redesign was a project I started with my good friend Drew Fletcher back in December of 2009. The previous website CC was using was built on Joomla and we were having numerous problems with it. The first thing we did in planning the new site was to move to WordPress, and for the past month things have been running pretty well for the most part.
With the exception of my cunning input, Drew was responsible for the design, while I was responsible for the actual theme building and coding. Together we made a pretty good team, and I for one would be excited to work on a project with him again in the future.

The site was completed on June 21st, and overall the response has been great. Hopefully we’ll now be able to utilize our website, but we’ll see what the future holds. Until then, we have a nice looking and performing website.
