About

About Me

I’m currently residing in Western Michigan, in my last year of High School. For the past few years I have been interested in computers, technology, and web design. I currently have nearly 3 years of experience with HTML and CSS and am interested in exploring the world of design.

In 2006 my cousin, Kristin Crawford, got a bright idea of starting an online forum. Through many name considerations and 1 name change completely we finally landed on Unhealthy Obsession. Later that year Kristin hinted at the fact that I should learn HTML, but not only did I know nothing about it, I had never even heard of it. However, that Christmas of 2006, she gave me a book on HTML and CSS where I learned the basics. From there I have been self-taught, learning from experience and practice.

The Christian Crew

I am both a Member and Council Member of The Christian Crew which has been a huge part of my life for the past year. The Christian Crew isĀ  a gaming community of Christians. Although we play many games, CC’s primary games are Team Fortress 2 and Counter-Strike: Source. We currently have 3 TF2 servers and 8 CS:S servers. My duty on the Council is to manage each of these servers as well as many other things around the Crew.

I joined CC in late November of 2007 finally being accepted as a full member in January of 2008. I was brought onto CC’s Tech Support team on June 24th before being voted on and accepted as a Christian Crew Council Member 3 months later on September 20th, 2008. The experience has been wonderful and I have learn much in many areas. I wouldn’t trade it for anything!

Goals

My goals in life are to learn more about the art of web design, to improve on my (X)HTML and CSS knowledge, and to learn PHP fluently along with other scripting languages. I also wish to improve on my Source SDK Hammer abilities and to finally release a Team Fortress 2 map. I wish to expand on my piano playing skills and to use the talent to which it is meant for. Finally, my goal in life is to serve and honor my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
